Updates and News

Hey everyone! Hope you guys had a great first weekend of October.

I had to fly down to North Carolina this weekend because I’m looking at apartments to move into in November. I haven’t flown on a plane in nearly a year and I felt like so much has changed!! But you know what hasn’t changed? Waiting to board the plane and finding things to do during the flight.

In the air,Stuck in the clouds,You'll find yourself.

Luckily, I had to work on my outline for my NaNoWriMo novel.

November is coming up pretty quick so I have to get this outline finished soon. PLUS since I’m going to be moving in November, I want this novel planned out so well that I’m not going to fall behind.

Guys… I have sixteen chapters outlined. SIXTEEN. I couldn’t believe it. I was like just banging out the outline the whole flight. I’m sure my seat neighbors were like what is this girl working on and why is she writing so fast and furiously? I quickly wrote out the rest of the events that needs to happen to finish the story and I’m estimating that I’ll need to outline 5-8 more chapters.

I honestly can’t believe that I’ve made it into the second act of my novel. In “Save the Cat!” terms I’m writing the “Fun and Games” section. This is where we’ve gotten to the heart of the story… the reason why you’re reading it. Something in that blurb caught your attention, now you’re at that part of the story. That’s what the “fun and games” are about.

I’m nearing the end of Act Two on my outline and I’m starting to see the horizon where I’m going to finish the story and walk out into the sunset. I’m feeling anxious and happy that I can see where and how I’m going to end the story. I usually like to leave the ending up in the air and finish it however I want to when I get to the point, but I’m really taking the outlining and planning seriously and doing it all the way to the end.

I can’t wait to finish the outline so I can show you the basic idea of the story I’ll be writing in November!

Thanks for reading!
