Fiction | Shorts | Screenplay
Growing up in a small town in New Hampshire, I always dreamed of worlds beyond my backyard. I would make up backstories about my dolls: what they liked/disliked and what was going on in their lives present day. In middle school, I was encouraged to write down my stories. Every year since, several notebooks would be filled with new stories and ideas. By the time I reached high school, I knew being a writer was what I wanted to do. It was then, that the fiction writing evolved into screenplays.
After graduating from the film program at Rochester Institute of Technology, I continued writing feature length films, short films, and teleplays. I had minor setbacks with not being directly "where the action is" as the saying goes. I have worked on a couple independent films, but have been unsuccessful at getting the ball rolling for my own screenplays.
Recently, I decided to go back to my origins of writing short stories, novellas and novels. Being a published author and seeing the responses to my books has both encouraged and inspired me to further pursue writing as a career.
